Just come back from the wedding - was good, if a little poignant. I really do wish them all the best, just that it's weird to think of friends that are younger than me getting married. I know that this is the traditional age to get married, and have lots of children, but it seems to be running against the flow of the zeitgeist, if you know what I mean.

Other than that, not much happenning - some gym, some running, a bit of teaching, but everything was running down before half term. Unfortunately (or fortunately, depending on your point of view), there's a teacher's strike in FE after half term, which I'm not allowed to participate in because I don't belong to a union. I really agree with the strike, but I can't really afford to join the union at the moment. So do I go in or not? It's a dilemma.

Clocks are going back in an hour - I'd better get to sleep before that happens.
