Work's been really busy and quite stressful - one of the problems with working more directly with the customer is that you get to notice that the customer doesn't really know what they want half the time, but when you try to tell them what they need, they dispute it. Oh well. I'm also coming to the end of my project, but it's not going as quickly as I'd like. More contingency was probably required, but I can't move the end point back. This means that I'm going to be in blue-arsed fly mode for the next week or so.
I also have an essay to write before next weekend. Bugger. At least I'm a bit more prepared than I was for the last one, and I know what I'm going to say, I think.
One thing I have done in the last couple of weeks is to watch a load of films due to the DVD rental scheme I've joined - highly recommended are Goodbye Lenin! and Roger Dodger. Donnie Darko was good. Mean Girls was also good in a trashy teen comedy sort of way. Swimfan and My Big Fat Greek Wedding were okay, but no more. Bad, sadly, was Kill Bill Vol 2.
I'm also loving the Zutons and Franz Ferdinand albums I finally got round to getting. Also, GLC make me laugh my arse off.
